Something a little personal.
I really hate it when people try to shove their version of Islam down everyone’s throat. If you’re religious, know that ever Muslim isn’t gonna agree with you. We are universally Muslims but, individually judged for our deeds. With that being said, believe what you want to believe but, don’t force others to believe the same thing. Honestly, i’m not the most religious Muslim out there but, in regards to Islam, yeah, i’m almost finished with the quran. I’m going to be finishing this year actually. I do research about Islam, and learn more everyday. No, i’m not perfect, nor am i a scholar in anyway. I just learn out of the need for wisdom and knowledge, because after all no one is complete, only Allah is. I never like to force my beliefs towards other people.Even though i grew up in a fairly strict Muslim Arab family, i don’t agree with alot of the beliefs that they hold, especially in regards to women’s part in society. I’ve been struggling with that for years. It’s got to the point where i’ve become degraded and depressed because of it. I feel confined and trapped sometimes by such compulsion. It’s very difficult to express my opinions because of the fear of being disowned and rejected. So next time you’re trying to explain anything in regards to Islam in general, don’t shove your opinion down other people’s throat. Instead, you should find ways to explain your point rather than making it an argument. If the person disagrees then there is no need to keep attacking and applying your beliefs on that person.
